Did not read the description as I previously purchased the original AirDisplay and just wanted to upgrade since my experience with AD1 was becoming buggy. Never had problems with the app before so I didnt hesitate to drop money on the latest version. Turns out that was a huge mistake... When will you extend support to Windows PCs?

Works exactly as I needed it to work. Simple to install and use.

I tried with my iPad 2 iOS 7 and with my MacBook pro. 90% of the times I just get a black background screen and nothing happens even when I drag a window from my main computer displays! It showed the screen a couple of times, but it was extremely slow... Nice concept but doesnt function properly! I wasted $15

Expect to pay an upgrade few of over $10 for each version of iOS down the road. Program is unusable and will crash otherwise. Really wish the vendor would support the product for more major releases.

I bought this app with high hopes it could act as a second monitor for my windows 7 computer on my iPad. I follow the directions to the letter on the web site and when I go to connect I get an error stating it wont connect. After some digging on the FAQ I find theres no PC support for the new version 3 app I just paid $14 for. Thanks for taking my money. I rarely buy apps but had a real need for this one and was mislead by all the rave reviews.

It s a rip off. Cant do photoshop on mbp retina display + ipad 3. Cant even show a keynote presentation on ipad. It s useless for most. Unless you want to plug the ipad and just put safari in the monitor. Then there is cheaper version. Stay away

And it is buggy as hell if you use your iPad vertically or add a third display using air play with your Apple TV.

I got some use out of this app having paid full price for Air Display 1, then having to re-buy Air Display 3 on the same iPad2. The feature that I got v3.0 for was the USB connection since the video was much smoother over USB than WiFi. It worked for a while until they updated the app for iOS9 and it stopped working in iOS7. They left a note that “They hope to support iOS7 soon”. What does that mean? I hope for a million dollars but all I really have is an app that doesn’t work that I paid too much for. Dear Avatron, I have an iPad2 with iOS 7.1.2. I’ve been through all three revisions of your app. I’m tired of this working, then getting broken. You owe it to your customers to have your products work because broken software is basically theft.

Like some of the other ratings Ive read, I too was unable to connect my iPad to Windows 10, and I havent been able to penetrate the web to get anyone to actually help me. Im out $14.99 and I have a useless app... Avatron, feel free to reach out to me to make this right!

I purchased this app twice accidentally. But after the installation its was simple to connect my device and viola I have dual screens to work from! They even refunded me for my second purchase! Quick response via email everything happened today and was resolved today! If you have Macs and iPads this is awesome for you!!!! Very satisfied!

I have a Mac Mini and was thinking of getting a Mac Air but found this app! I connected my Mac Mini to my iPad Pro and now have a 12.9 Retina display as my primary and only monitor when on the go. The Mac mini is small enough to carry in my pc bag with my iPad Pro. So now when I am going to be stationary somewhere I just take both with me. The monitor looks amazing. The only issue is that when you boot the Mac Mini connected to only the iPad Pro you cannot see the login screen because the app is waiting for the program to load on the Mac. So I have to blindly login. But once logged in the screen opens up. I am using the usb connection. Please find a way for this app to recognize the iPad from the Mac on the login screen when it is the only monitor being used and this will be a 5. Thanks!

Completely misleading app and now I am out $15 or whatever I payed. Will not work on Windows!!!!

Really cool concept and I wanted to like it. It just isn’t quite stable or fast enough to really use for anything more than a demo.

I used to use version 1 of this app, was trying to use a competing app that supports USB and claims 60fps that wouldnt do Retina correctly and was very slow - purchased this yesterday after seeing that USB was now supported and I couldnt be happier. Im using my iPad Pro as a second screen off of my MBP, Retina works correctly, its much faster (not for gaming, but thats not my goal...), and I just wish I had noticed the update a few weeks back. The 1 star reviews over Windows support (or lack of) are a shame, if you have a Mac this is essentially seamless.

Not sure why people are rating this poorly. Their website said that it doesnt work with Windows 10, yes. However, it works great on the new MacBook and ipad2 as the second screen! It lags a little when the Internet connection isnt strong, but it works flawlessly via cable.

No issues what so ever! I use with my iPad Pro and its like having dual laptops! Works seamlessly just like any other remote screen

I am using MacBook Pro with El Capitan OS with the iPad 3rd gen with the 30 pin connector and this app works great!!! A few lags here and there but I use this with multiple excel Windows and websites/programs and works just as promised!!! Beats having to buy an extra 3rd party usb monitor!!!

Mac plugin crashed my system.

It just works. Im using a MacBook Air and an iPad Air. The wifi connection is suitable for my needs, and the USB connection is flawless. Im not sure why this isnt more highly rated.
