Get App but Weird System Behavior after Install

I purchased and installed this app on my two iPad Airs and loaded the base software on my MacBook Pro to create a 3 screen MacBook Pro environment. While this worked great, I immediately noticed that my MacBook Pro would no longer shutdown. It would hang and would need to powered off. I noticed that during single display use, my screen would go blank and my MacBook Pro would redstart due to a GPU panic.

I decided to stop using the multiple screen setup and found that I had to reset the SMC and NVRAM to return my MacBook Pro to a stable state.
